Phyree Care

If you already have a phyree, or if you’re considering adopting one, you may have questions about how to take care of them. Phyrees don’t appear to move much to human eyes, but they still appreciate your love and care. (Why move around when you have everything you need?) Here’s everything you need to know about taking care of your new friends.

The number one rule of phyree care is BE GENTLE. Dropping a Phyree, trying to pull it apart, or knocking it against something can damage the Phyrees body.

Because phyrees are born in summoning fire, you should also NOT SUBMERGE THEM IN WATER FOR A LONG TIME. We don’t want to lose the magic!

If your phyree is hungry, I’ve included some food! the little candle that comes in your phyrees box is a source of extra magical energy for it to eat. Placing the enchanting pad under the candle gives it a weaker version of the summoning flame, and it can channel the essence of your phyree’s favorite food. If you opted for the traditional phyree food, KEEP YOUR PHYREE 3-4 INCHES AWAY FROM THE FLAME, AND DO NOT HOLD IT OVER THE FLAME. You can easily overfeed or hurt your phyree, or hurt yourself on the flame. Just being in the same room as the candle is food enough for your phyree. Once you’ve burned through your included candle, you can replace it with any tealight, and the enchantment pad will still keep working.

If the body of your Phyree is damaged or broken, don’t worry! In extreme cases, your phyree will revert to a wim (a spirit creature) and for a commission fee I can rebuild a body for your friend. Just contact me, and I’ll be happy to help you get your friend back in tip-top shape!
